Virginie has a first degree from the University of Brussels and a postgraduate qualification in translation at the European level from the University of Leuven (Belgium). Building on prior experience at a legal firm, Belgium’s justice ministry and as a teacher, she is now a freelance translator from English and Dutch to French.
Virginie specialises in the legal, fleet, logistics and marketing sectors, but she is always ready to undertake research to meet new challenges in terminology. In fact, it is precisely this intersection between translation and so many other varied fields that she loves the most about her work.
Responsive and proactive in managing her clients’ translation projects, she is nonetheless a devotee of the “slow” movement and its initiatives in the worlds of #food, #design and #cosmetics.
